Together for the Gospel Conference

A few days ago on my personal blog (MrCLM) I made a few posts about leadership conferences. Below is an outstanding opportunity for pastors, elders, and lay church leaders. I am seriously contemplating going, though the timing is tough as it fall during the semester, plus finding the money to finance it then might be tough. We'll see. Needs some thought and prayer, plus needs some discussion with my fiancee. The lineup of speakers this year is amazing. I've borrowed from all but Ligon Duncan for posts in my personal blog, and I have read considerable amounts from all the men.

I am definately going next year. Plus, I'll have vacation time. I can bring Becky and Kaylynn and let them bum around in Louisville while I go to this conference.

I can't say I've ever been to Kentucky. I went to Florida last year in June, and that was my first real Eastern experience. Prior to that, Nashville had been as far East as I have gone, and that was for a week long stay at the Opryland Hotel for a BSA conference. If you don't include those trips, Chicago is as far East as I've traveled. So it would be nice to see Louisville, but I'm obviously more interested in the conference. We'll see. I need to find out when the early bird rate drops, and also if there is a student rate. The nice thing about the Willow conference is it's cheap for students (at satellite locations anyhow).
